Turn your Mac in to a retro gaming machine

Many of us would love to play some of our favorite games from the 80’s, 90’s, and even early 2000’s but we just don’t have the consoles anymore. Well, I’m glad to tell you that there is a way that you can play all of your favorite retro games right on your mac! Anything from the Atari 2600 to the Wonder Swan you can emulate right from your Mac. You can even use a Bluetooth controller or a MFI controller like the Horipad Ultimate and play the games with a controller instead of a keyboard and mouse. You can have hundreds of games and pick up right where you left off.

What making this magic happen though? You can thank OpenEmu for amazing emulator for Mac. They’re always updating the app to make it better and even easier to use and play your favorite games. Hook up your Mac to a TV or even just play off your Mac’s screen and play your favorite games. I would like to note that OpenEmu does not provide ROMS but they do provide a great library of games (ROMS) that are available for download.

I’ve found myself playing a ton of Super Mario World and Mario Kart 64, but there are some many games that you can play with OpenEmu. Here’s just a little note to you from me. Do not have OpenEmu open while working, you’ll get zero work done.
