Transformers: Forged to Fight

For this week’s app of the week, I’ve chosen Transformers: Forged to Fight. There’s some much that I love about this game its actually really surpassing how much I love it. I’ve never been a fan of fighting games at all. It’s always seemed like just smashing buttons and just hoping I get some hits in. I’ve also found fighting games to be completely boring to me. Lastly, I’m not a fan of Transformers at all, I didn’t grow up watching Transformers nor did I really have an interest in Transformers. Though, for some reason, this game just really caught my eye and kept me playing for days.

What made this game so great though? Well, the overall gameplay is fantastic, the developers have made it easy to keep playing and not have to stop. Assuming you’re going to pay for some energy to keep going since this game is a freemium game. The controls are good but not perfect. I’ve found myself having to swipe in the direction multiple times to get the game to actually register that I was swiping, but besides that, the controls are actually really great and they’re the main reason why I keep coming back to the game. The graphics are outstanding for a mobile game and to par to a console quality game in my opinion.

The only thing that isn’t so great is how short the fights are. Most of the fights in this game last around 30 seconds or less. Some of my matches have gone for longer but it’s very rare. Since the matches are so short when going through the missions you soon find yourself running out of energy and having to wait to play again or spend real money.

There’s a ton of things to do in this game and I definitely recommend anyone who loves fighting games or simple games to check this game out.
